How to get big biceps without equipment - http://athleanx.com/x/equipmentfreeworkouts Most people think that doing bodyweight workouts means that you can't do any bodyweight biceps exercises. This would be wrong. In fact, in this video I show you three bicep exercises that you can do without any equipment if you want to know how to get big biceps at home! With bodyweight biceps exercises or any other exercises for that matter, you want to be sure that you are providing resistance and muscle overload. This resistance does not have to come in the form of dumbbells, barbells or even using pullup bars. All it takes is you positioning your own body in a way that you can use it for the resistance on bodyweight biceps exercises. In the first body weight exercise, I show you how to simulate a barbell curl using your leg! Yes, using your own leg to show you how to get big biceps! The key here is to realize that unless you're Gumby you likely won't be able to lift your leg up to the level of the chest required to get a full contraction on the biceps muscle. However, if you lean your torso forward and stabilize yourself against a wall for balance you can actually get peak biceps while modifying the strength curve to match the position. This helps you to really work your biceps without weights or machines. In the next biceps exercise without equipment, you lie on your side and position your body so you need your arms to lift you up (not your abs). This bicep bodyweight exercise can be a definite option if you are wondering how you can get bigger biceps at home since you can do this anywhere. Lastly, an exercise that you can use to get bigger biceps that is still using just your own body (and now this time a door). This doorway curl exercise is awesome for taking the bicep through a longer range of motion and allows you to provide the resistance needed to build bigger biceps by lowering the angle of your body to the door. It's these kind of bodyweight exercise mistakes that people make (thinking that you can't work biceps with bodyweight workouts) that might be holding you back. You can see a video we put together showing you the other most common mistakes with bodyweight training here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sqxAmFTGW-I For more bodyweight exercises and a complete workout program to build not just big biceps but an entire physique be sure to head to http://athleanx.com/xero for the new ATHLEAN XERO program. For other videos on other exercises you can do at home without equipment, and information on supplements and nutrition be sure to subscribe to our youtube channel at http://youtube.com/user/jdcav24

Physical fitness is generally achieved through proper nutrition, moderate-vigorous physical exercise, and sufficient rest. Before the industrial revolution, fitness was defined as the capacity to carry out the day’s activities without undue fatigue. However, with automation and changes in lifestyles physical fitness is now considered a measure of the body's ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure activities, to be healthy, to resist hypokinetic diseases, and to meet emergency situations. Fitness is defined as the quality or state of being fit. Around 1950, perhaps consistent with the Industrial Revolution and the treatise of World War II, the term "fitness" increased in western vernacular by a factor of ten. Modern definition of fitness describe either a person or machine's ability to perform a specific function or a holistic definition of human adaptability to cope with various situations. This has led to an interrelation of human fitness and attractiveness which has mobilized global fitness and fitness equipment industries. Regarding specific function, fitness is attributed to person who possess significant aerobic or anaerobic ability, i.e. strength or endurance. A holistic definition of fitness is described by Greg Glassman in the CrossFit journal as an increased work capacity across broad times and modal domains; mastery of several attributes of fitness including strength, endurance, power, speed, balance and coordination and being able to improve the amount of work done in a given time with any of these domains. A well rounded fitness program will improve a person in all aspects of fitness, rather than one, such as only cardio/respiratory endurance or only weight training. A comprehensive fitness program tailored to an individual typically focuses on one or more specific skills, and on age- or health-related needs such as bone health. Many sources also cite mental, social and emotional health as an important part of overall fitness. This is often presented in textbooks as a triangle made up of three points, which represent physical, emotional, and mental fitness. Physical fitness can also prevent or treat many chronic health conditions brought on by unhealthy lifestyle or aging. Working out can also help some people sleep better and possibly alleviate some mood disorders in certain individuals. Developing research has demonstrated that many of the benefits of exercise are mediated through the role of skeletal muscle as an endocrine organ. That is, contracting muscles release multiple substances known as myokines which promote the growth of new tissue, tissue repair, and various anti-inflammatory functions, which in turn reduce the risk of developing various inflammatory diseases.

How to get rid of belly fat quickly? 💪 If you have no time to go to the gym, try these 10 at-home exercises to finally lose belly fat once and for all! It will take you a month to reduce excess fat around your waistline. No leaving your house, no special equipment needed, and no excuses! 💥 TIMESTAMPS: #1. 5 Jumping Jacks + 1 Burpee 1:00 #2. 4 Mountain Climbers + 2 Sit-throughs 2:08 #3. Plyo step-ups 3:21 #4. Push-ups 4:08 #5. 2 Split Squat Jumps + 1 Burpee 4:50 #6. Toe Taps 5:34 #7. Plank Walks 6:29 #8. Sprinter Sit-ups 7:28 #9. Squat thrusts 8:15 #10. Sumo Goblet Squat Pulses 9:01 #absworkout #flatstomach #bellyfat Music by Epidemic Sound https://www.epidemicsound.com/ SUMMARY: - Jumping jacks are a great way to get that heart pumping. Plus, you’ll burn calories while building muscle strength. - Mountain climbers are a cardio exercise, which means they burn fat like no other. They also target your upper and lower abs, shoulders, and leg muscles. - Plyo step-ups increase your overall leg strength, really hitting those quads, calves, and lower abs. It can also help if you have some issues with your lower back. - Push-ups train all kinds of muscles in your body. This plank-like position targets your abs and obliques, pushing up works your chest muscles, and lowering yourself back down targets your upper arms and back. - Split squat jumps are a great exercise for lean and strong legs. They strengthen your glutes, quads, hamstrings, and, of course, abs! - The act of bringing your leg up actually engages your lower abs. That’s why we do leg exercises to get rid of belly fat! - If you’re looking for an exercise to sculpt your core, the plank is it! It even targets those deep abdominal muscles, which, when trained, work as a sort of natural corset for your waistline. - Sprinter sit-ups work not only your abs but your hip flexors as well. And that's a good thing, since hip flexor muscles often get too tight and don't allow you to have a full range of motion. - Squat thrusts are perfect for toning your muscles and burning fat. They involve your abs, glutes, hamstrings, quads, triceps, shoulders, and chest. - Sumo goblet squat pulses mostly target your quads. But they also strengthen your calves, hip flexor, glutes, and outer thighs as well as tighten your abs. Enjoy! 🔥 FREE 6 Week Challenge: https://gravitychallenges.com/home65d4f?utm_source=ytube&utm_term=butt Fat Loss Calculator: http://bit.ly/2wf2ctN TIMESTAMPS: # 1- Barbell Squat 0:40 # 2- Step-ups 2:57 # 3 - Romanian Deadlifts 4:06 # 4 - Bulgarian Split Squats 5:59 # 5 - Elevated Shoulder Glute Bridge 7:38 The glutes. They're one of the most important muscle groups found in your body without them you wouldn't be able to walk run or jump and you would also have a serious case of flat pancake butt. Nobody wants see a flat butt not guys and not girls so in today's video I'm going to do all the peach loving people of the world a big favor and give you guys the 5 best exercises for a nice looking butt. And if you've been doing your squats and you've been trying your absolute best but your glutes just don't seem to grow give this video chance because I'm going to dive into specific methods you can use to Target your glutes to build a nicer butt so you can fill up those jeans in no time. Let's start with the very first one that everyone knows about and that's barbell squats. But we're not just doing regular barbell squats the best types of squats to work your glutes are deep barbell squats. Getting down nice and low during squats is the secret to building nicer glutes. A lot of people are afraid of going low during squats because of the many myths that exist about how low you're allowed to go. The truth is that as long as you don't have any previous injuries to your knees and your form is correct you can go almost all the way to the ground. This is actually something that trainers call ass to the grass squats. And going nice and low for your squats is a very natural movement for your body. I always bring up this example but before we had toilets we would take a squat every single day and that squat was naturally a deep squat. This is why deep squats are a very natural movement that our bodies have had plenty of time throughout history to adapt to. The problem is if you're not used to squatting a deep squat feels like anything but natural. So it's important that you learn the right way to do it and if you're not used to squatting the best way to start is 2 put a seat or a platform behind you and simply stand facing a mirror and sit down and get back up sit down and get back up. Most people perform a very good squat when they're sitting down but if you tell that same person to squat without a platform behind them they'll start messing it up. After you feel comfortable enough you can get rid of the seat or platform and try to perform regular squats. You would do this by keeping your chest out towards the mirror turning your hips out too kind of exaggerated The Arc in your back leaning back on your heels so take all the pressure off of your toes as you squat keep the pressure on your heels and then just sit back while trying to keep your knees from crossing too far over your toes. Once you're comfortable doing that you can try to put a really short platform on the ground and try to squat down and tap that platform with every rep. Now after you feel like your form is on point you can add the barbell into the movement and you can start incrementally increasing the weight. Remember the key points are to squat low stick your chest out and stick your butt out and stay on your heels as you come down for your squats. Let's move on to the second exercise step-ups but once again we're not doing regular step-ups because regular step-ups don't Target your glutes anywhere near as much as the way that I'm about to show you. You see normally when people are doing step-ups they're actually working their back calf a lot more than they think. Sure they're still going to work their quad and their hamstring a little on that front leg to get up on top of the platform they're stepping up on. However that back calf is taking the pressure off of the glute on the other leg. And this happens because most people will kickoff for every rep when doing this exercise. So to turn this into an exercise that improves your butt I want you to point the toes of your back foot up towards the ceiling the whole time. By pointing your toes towards the ceiling it makes it impossible for you to kick off. So this puts all the stress and work that's required to get your body up that platform on that front leg and that bottom portion of going up without kicking off is going to Target the glutes big time. The one thing that you should keep in mind is since you're not kicking off you will probably have to use less weight than what you were doing if you were to just do regular step-ups.

Build muscular, ripped legs here - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW Anyone that has ever struggled to build muscle has likely dealt with skinny legs and become frustrated trying to add mass. In this video, I’m going to give you 4 leg workout tips for mass that will help even the hardest of hardgainers to pack on size and start bulking up your legs in no time. The first thing that most guys with skinny legs get wrong is that they allow their ego and self consciousness get in the way of what they should be doing in their leg workouts. No doubt, it can be a bit intimidating to watch others around you squat multiple plates while you are struggling to lift even one big plate for clean reps. That’s ok. Everyone starts somewhere and if you choose to start further ahead of where you should be it is a mistake that is going to hold you back for years to come. Most guys with skinny legs will put more weight on the bar than they can handle in the squat and then proceed to crank out quarter reps. Not only is this robbing your legs of the stress that they can handle but you are doing this at the exclusion of doing the reps you should be doing to build bigger legs the right way. What you need to do is lower the weight to those that you can handle and get your intensity not from the heavier weights but from the high rep sets that you do in good form through full range of motion. The next thing the hardgainer has to do for his legs is learn how to properly push from the ground. There is no way that you are going to lift as much weight as you can in your leg workouts unless you learn how to push through your feet. An equal and opposite force is needed to lift the weight that is on your shoulders during a squat. There is no better place to learn this than with the deadlift exercise. The deadlift demands that you push through your legs during the first half of the left, beyond which point it becomes a pulling exercise. If you practice just the first half of the deadlift or combine it in one and a half rep fashion, you will build more strength through the legs off the floor. The will dramatically help you to increase your squat and lift heavier weights over time. Multi-dimensional leg training is also important to fully developed legs. Almost all of the leg exercises that hardgainers use only stress the legs in the sagittal plane. Squats, leg extensions and leg curl are all one plane exercises that don’t mimic the functionality of the legs and limit the amount of growth that can be had by training the adductors and abductors of the legs as well. Finally, I like to include exercises for the legs that are technically easier to perform than the squat and allow for someone just starting out to add weight faster. The Bulgarian Split Squat is a great exercise for doing this since it literally puts you in the right position to perform the exercise. The quads get loaded and the safety of the exercise is intact since you can simply dump the weights if you need to at the bottom of the squat without risk. For a complete program that hardgainers have used to build muscle and keep low levels of body fat, head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Build athletic legs and get ripped without compromising your long term health or gains by using the same program relied on by today’s top professional athletes. These are 10 exercises all men should avoid. Not only should you stop doing these exercises but you should never do them again. These are the worst gym workout mistakes if you're trying to avoid an injury. You might feel it in your lower back or your shoulder but you find yourself thinking did I do something wrong or does this exercise just suck. Well it really isn't always you. There are a lot of exercises out there that are plain bad for you & they only continue to exist just because they've been passed down from one misinformed gym to the next, & noones been smart enough to realize that these common exercises are no good. So today we're going over 10 exercises that all men should avoid & these exercises aren't only exclusive to men. Women should avoid these exercises as well it's just that in this video we'll be sticking to exercises that i usually find men doing wrong. The very first one that I want to start with is actually a group of exercises that guys are drawn to like moths to a flame. I'm talking about all the selectorizor ab machines at your local gym. The machines that you usually start by sitting down pulling out the pin, selecting your weight, then grabing some handles behind your head & doing crunches. These machines are not only a waste of time but they are also dangerous for your lower back. All these selectorizor ab machines are locked into a range of motion, meaning that your joints & your disks can't travel down their natural path, you can only travel down the path that the machine has set for you. Even if you adjust the machine to your body perfectly, which by the way is very hard to do, but even if you somehow had a machine customized for your body you can still easily run into lower back issues because you're still locked in a set range of motion throughout the entire exercise. Besides a greater potential for a lower back injury you will also get significantly less results from these machines than if you stuck to regular ab exercises like crunches, hanging knee tucks, & declined situps. The reason is once again due to the fact that your locked into a range of motion. The core's main responsibility is stabilization. And it's important to improve your functional core strength because your core isn't only responsible for stabilizing your trunk but it stabilizes your whole body. It is the bridge that connects your lower body to your upper body. When you're locked in a range of motion you take all of the stabilization normally required for ab exercises out of the movement. The really ironic part is that those abdominal stabilizer muscles that you're not working on these machines are very important to strengthen in order to prevent the lower back injury that you'll likely experience on one of these machines. Due to the fact that you're not working your stabilizers you're missing out on all of those deep tissue abdominal muscles like your transverse abdominus & your only targeting mostly your rectus abdominus which is the very outer layer six pack looking muscle. The transverse abdominus is very important to work because not only does it help prevent injury, but it also pulls your stomach in keeping everything nice & tight giving you that flat stomach look. If you want to make your ab exercises tougher use weights by simply holding a dumbbell or a plate either behind your head or accross your chest while doing regular traditional ab exercises. Once again if you don't know where to start start with exercises like stability ball crunches, declined situps, & hanging knee tucks. The next exercise you should avoid is the behind the head shoulder press. First off there is absolutely no advantage to going behind your head. None. Even though I'm sure some old school guys will be disagreeing with me in the comments below you can research this yourself & you'll find that when you go behind the head you're still targeting the same muscles that you would if you went in front of your head & there's no advantage when going behind your head that will allow you to build your shoulder muscle faster.

You may have different reasons for dreaming of becoming taller: to feel more comfortable with your taller partner, not to lag behind your tall family, and what not. Here're several simple exercises to do at home that will help you to increase your height. Everybody knows that the height depends on many factors: environment, hormones, your genes, and nutrition. But if you've always believed that you must just grin and bear it, think twice. It's hard but not impossible to change your height even after 25. Stretched muscles receive more blood as it circulates better in the stretched limbs. What is more, oxygen moves better in the whole body. All in all, this leads to a gradual natural stretch. Cobra Pose has several additional benefits, such as decreasing the stiffness of the lower back, increasing flexibility, strengthening your shoulders and arms, and firming and toning the buttocks. A longer neck you can get as a result of Neck Stretch will give you some additional height. There have been claims that by regular practice, vibration gymnastics can even prolong your life by decades. When your heels are raised, the largest blood vessels are filled with blood due to muscle contraction. And, when the heels are dropped back down, the blood turns around and immediately starts moving toward your heart, thus reducing the strain on it. At the same time, blood gets access to all the muscles, thus, allowing them to stretch much better. Skipping makes the whole body slimmer, and with a slimmer body, you look taller. Swimming is one of the most effective exercises to gain height. The thing is that it stretches both the body and the spine. Moreover, when a person is swimming, gravitation doesn't affect them. So, when they keep moving their muscles, this stretches the body extremely well simultaneously having a great effect on the spine while it gets longer. Don't forget to breathe properly during the exercises, relaxing and avoiding the urge to tense. A well-stretched body is a taller body. -Cobra Pose helps to stretch all the muscles in your chest, shoulders, and abdominals. -Cat and Cow Stretch stretches your torso, back, and neck, what is more, it makes your spine alignment better. Also, it helps abdominal muscles get stronger, relieves back pain, and calms you down. -Calves Stretch will help you to lengthen your calf muscles. -Flexion (stretching the neck forward), and extension (stretching the neck backward) help to elongate the muscles in your neck. -Hip Flexor Stretch will super effectively stretch your hip flexors. To make the stretch more intense, lift your arms over your head and arch your body back. -Lifting up to your toes is popularly known as vibration gymnastics. By regular practice, it can even prolong your life by decades. -Skipping is a heart-pumping high-speed activity. When you skip, all the muscles and ligaments of your body stretch and contract. -The most fruitful swimming style is the breaststroke. When you use it while swimming, you extend your legs and arms straight, so your body is pulled in the opposite directions and well-stretched. Try to swim minimum five days a week for several hours, and you'll see noticeable results. Tips for More Defined Face and Stronger Jaw 1. Stay hydrated - if you're not properly hydrated, you'll retain water. Your body will flush with the more water you drink. 2. Reduce consumption of sodium 3. Lose body fat - it's noticed in the face quickly 4. Creatively utilize facial hair - full puffy beards don't make you look thinner or more angular. If you have cheek fuzz, taper it. Soul patch and goatees help to elongate and slim it out as well as longer, thinner, and angled sideburns. Designer stubble, short and maintained, is the best way to define your face. 5. Define you boundaries - Alpha demonstrates where to trim. He also discusses the neck beard and how you need separation. He demonstrates with Dr. Carver's Shave Butter (it's translucent, and you can see what you're shaving) and the Executive from the Dollar Shave Club (high quality blades for a few bucks a month). 6. Choose a taller and tighter hair style - big and swooping makes your face look rounder. Facial Exercise to Reduce Chubby Cheeks This exercise strengthens the muscles. First, fill upper lip with hair. Hold for 10 seconds. Blow over to one of your cheeks. Hold tight. After 10 seconds, repeat to other cheek. Do this rotation 10 times. You don't realize how many muscles you have in there until you try this.

Get jacked in 90 days here - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW Stretching, when done the right way at the wrong time can absolutely be killing your gains. The issue is that many people do not know the difference between active and static stretching and the impact that doing one over the other before your workout can be having on your strength and ultimately your size gains. In this video, I’m going to show you why you should not do static stretching that you hold for any length of time before you train if you want to get maximum muscle growth and strength. The issue boils down to neural efficiency. When you perform any movement, it doesn’t matter if it is something you would define as an exercise, your body has a stored pattern for accomplishing it. It does this in order to create movement efficiency. If I drop a pen on the ground and I bend to pick it up, your body doesn’t have to think about every single joint component of motion that is needed to get you down to the ground. Instead, it thinks of the “squat” movement in general and is able to instantly help you down to the floor without wasting any time. When you perform static stretching of muscles that are going to be trained in your workout that day, you are negatively interfering with your stored engrams or motor patterns. While increasing flexibility and the length of a muscle can be a very good thing long term, doing stretches just prior to your workout that temporarily do this can have this associated downside that winds up costing you gains from your workouts. The length tension relationship between muscles is something that you have that is unique to you and different from one muscle to the next. While not all length tension relationships are optimal, it is still what your body is used to and what is being used by it when calling on the stored motor pattern when performing a movement. Static or passive stretching before a workout will temporarily disrupt these patterns by affecting the actin and myosin cross bridging. If you were going to use this method of warming up for a workout, you would then have to spend a significant amount of time prior to starting your training just to attempt to re-integrate the movements to better match up to the engrams stored for that movement pattern or exercise. In this case, I would suggest doing two or three light sets of each of the exercises you were going to do in that workout after completing the static stretching routine. This could add at least a half an hour to your workout when you account for the stretching and the re-integration. There is a better way. You can instead opt to perform active or dynamic stretching for the muscles that are going to be involved in the exercises you are about to perform that day. These are movement stretches that take your joints actively into new ranges without ever holding for any length of time. The disruption to the muscles is greatly minimized and your ability to feel loose and perform at a high level is maintained. That said, static stretching is still vital and has a place in your routine. The best thing to do is do your stretches for the muscles that you worked that day, later on at night before you go to bed. When you sleep, your body heals itself and the muscles that were trained tend to heal a bit shorter. You can lessen this shortening effect by performing the static stretches just before laying down. When you wake up the next morning you should not only feel more loose but you will likely have less muscle soreness as well. If you are looking for a program that puts the science back in not just stretching but everything you do in your workout, head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. How to Get Big Arms - http://athleanx.com/x/getbigarms Most guys that workout want to know how to get big arms. The problem is that they wind up doing hours of the wrong types of biceps exercises, the wrong biceps workouts, and sometimes even neglect just how important the triceps are to adding size to the arms. Well, in this video, I'm going to show you that it is possible to get big arms much faster by including a couple of the right biceps exercises and triceps exercises into your arm workouts. To begin with, in order to get the biceps to peak more you will want to work on the long head of the biceps since it is largely responsible for the biceps peak. The long head of the biceps can be stimulated more with biceps exercises that start with the arm in an extended position behind the body. You can do this with an incline biceps curl, but you won't be able to lift as much weight as you can on the biceps exercise that I show you here. Next you'll want to work on specific triceps exercises when trying to get much bigger arms a lot faster. Since the triceps muscle accounts for roughly two thirds of the mass of the arm you'll want to make sure you train them in every complete arm workout. The triceps exercise shown here will help you to get big arms much faster because it hits the long head of the triceps more - which makes up the bulk of the triceps muscle. By putting the triceps on a bigger stretch, you'll be able to handle more weight and get a stronger contraction - allowing you to get big arms much faster than with typical triceps workouts. How to Get Big Arms - MUCH FASTER!! (Triceps and Biceps) Once you start to see just how much you can lift on these arm exercises and the results you will start to see from doing them, you'll realize just how fast you can build big arms. This is most likely due to the fact that each of these exercises add size to the arms. The biceps drag curl adds height to the arms while the triceps extension exercise adds width to the triceps. For more great ways to get big arms make sure to check out the other arm workouts and biceps exercises and triceps exercises that we have here on our youtube channel at http://youtube.com/user/jdcav24 When you're ready to get not just big arms but six pack abs and a complete body like a pro athlete - be sure to head to http://athleanx.com and get the ATHLEAN-X Training System. Get ripped in 90 days - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW Fat loss from the three most stubborn zones for men can be quite difficult, unless you have a plan. In this video, I share with you a three phase plan for losing fat in the abdomen, love handles or waistline area, and the chest. These spots are where most men carry their fat and are the last to lose it when dieting or trying to cut down. The reason for this is actually based on our genetics, but it doesn’t mean that we cannot do something about it. Before we get started however, here is a list of the videos that I referenced in the video for you to watch: How to Stretch Your Chest - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SV7l1sfEmO0 The 7 Minute Ab Workout - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8jyhJ6TiUPA Lose the Love Handles - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWjf2io_b6E The first thing you have to realize is that all three of these areas share the common problem in that they look bad mostly because of the abundance of body fat. You may even have developed muscles underneath, but as long as the fat is present you will never get a chance to see what it looks like. This means that your priority has to be on cleaning up your nutrition. If you refuse to eat better, no matter what else you do, you will never look better. Early on however, you don’t have to get too specific with your eating. Simply make a pass through your diet and get rid of the obvious garbage that you know is not helping your cause. Sweets, excessive alcohol, sugars, etc can all be removed and replaced with more nutritious foods. You don’t have to necessarily worry about your macros at this point but just getting rid of the junk food and liquid calories. Realizing that it will take some time to see the results of these changes however, you should start chipping away at the trouble spots in another way. For the abdomen, you want to first ensure that you can properly activate the muscles in the rectus and transverse abdominis. Most find this difficult and even when they do perform ab exercises they get frustrated at not being able to feel them. Next, you want to start adding in ab training but mostly in the form of rotational ab exercises. Instead of trying to do crunches and having the fat get in the way of the movement, you can work your abs without having to crunch. Finally, you want to incorporate moves for your entire core, such as with the 7 minute ab workout included above. When it comes to the love handles, you want to start by working the lats. Here especially, you want to focus on full contractions and range of motion to ensure proper development of the muscles that actually insert onto the top of the pelvis near your waistline. The more you can build these muscles the greater the visual differential between your waist and your shoulders and the better the v taper. Next add in direct ab work and finish up with direct oblique training for the best look as your diet gets dialed in. Finally, for the chest you want to stretch it and strengthen the muscles of the rotator cuff to posturally improve the visual appearance of your chest. From here, work the serratus anterior. This will give your chest more natural underlying support will helping to visually chisel out the area underneath. Finally, you want to make sure that as your body fat levels decrease and fat loss continues that you are working your chest in all three heads. Use the angles of the band work as an example of how to hit the upper, lower and middle chest. Build bigger more vascular arms here - http://athleanx.com/x/arms Subscribe to this channel now - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW If you want to get bigger more vascular arms then you have to get a few things right or it simply won’t happen. To start, you better plan on getting your nutrition in check. You see, big arms are great but you won’t see any vascularity if your arms are covered in layers of fat. In order to get those veins popping through your forearms and biceps you better get yourself down to less than ten percent body fat. Are you still with me? Good, because there is more you can do to improve your ability to get vascularity as well. One thing we know is that change in tissue temperature will make someone appear more or less vascular. In the winter when the ambient temperature is cold, your body will have a tendency to look less vascular. This is because your veins will sink further from the surface to stay closer to your warmer core temperature. When it’s hot out in the Summer, your veins will actually migrate closer to the surface to allow your body to transfer away some of the accumulated heat to better regulate your body’s temperature and prevent overheating. That said, contrast baths are an incredible way for training the ability of your veins to respond to things like increases in tissue temperature (whether it be ambient or from direct increase in the tissue itself). When you train with weights, the increased blood flow will temporarily increase the temperature of the muscles you are working. As the blood flows into the working muscle, the heat and redness (and vascularity) will increase. The degree to which this happens (and the length or sustainability of this long after training has ended) are mostly determined by the condition of the smooth muscle lining of the vessels and their ability to respond to the conditions. For instance, if your vessels are not as responsive as they could be you will never experience as big a pump as you should nor have the vascularity at low body fat levels that you should. This ability can be improved however by including some very high rep training into your arm workouts to ensure that you are challenging the ability of the vessels to expand and respond to your demands. If you never include super high rep training for your arms then you will want to start. I show you a 400 rep sequence using just a bar that hits your biceps and forearms in one killer sequence. This is scaleable for beginners and intermediate as well by performing 40 or 70 reps respectively of each of the exercises in this bigger more vascular arms circuit. Remember, the more frequently you include this type of training and the more dedicated you are to your nutrition the faster you will see the benefits of greater arm vascularity from this. For a complete workout program that takes your arm size and vascularity to all new levels, be sure to head to http://athleanx.com and get the Ultimate Arms program. This workout is not just an arm workout routine but a complete body program that helps you to build more than just your biceps and triceps…it takes your entire body to an all new level. Start Losing Your Belly Fat Fast: http://go.sixpackshortcuts.com/never47a1 Hey, everybody. Mark Mcilyar here today to show you one of my favorite at-home exercises I have my beginners doing... Right in their living rooms! First and foremost, make sure you have a sufficient amount of space. You don't need a ton of it, just put your arms extended all the way out to each side, do a 360-degree spin, and make sure nothing in that area is going to get in the way. We will be doing a total of 5 different exercises, all back-to-back with no rest until you finish the first round of all 5 movements. Now, let's get going: 0:39 - Elevated Pushups for 10 reps: Remember that these movements are for beginners. That means if you aren't able to fully complete a set of pushups with proper form - back flat, on your toes, arms holding you up and at a shoulder's width - on the ground, then find an elevated surface to workout with. The higher the surface - my coffee table for example, the easier it's going to be for you to do the move. 1:32 - Air Squats for 10 reps: With your feet just about at a shoulder's width apart, you'll essentially be performing a movement identical to sitting down. Here's the kicker - keep your arms forward and out like I am to keep your back straight, remembering to drop down into the squat until your quads hit parallel or if not as low as your mobility allows. 2:13 - Lying Leg Lifts for 10 reps: Lay flat on your back and place your hands underneath your butt. With your legs together or at most a hip's width apart and your legs locked with a slight bend at the knee, lift your legs off the ground and drive your knees up to become parallel with your hips. 2:47 - Donkey Kicks for 10 reps on each leg: Kneel down on your knees and have your hands in a pushup position - shoulder's width apart and at chest level. From this starting point, you will lift one leg up, keeping the leg you ar moving in a locked position and driving your leg up by focusing on your heel going towards the ceiling. Once you finish one leg, make sure to alternate to the next. 3:34 - Knee Pushups for 10 reps: Another pushup variation, only we are taking the pressure off of staying in a plank position, and you will do the pushups from the same start position as you doing the donkey kicks. There you have it. Do all 5 movements back-to-back and after you finish the round with Knee Pushups, take about a 45 second to 1-minute break. Complete a total of 3 rounds for a complete, bodyweight home workout in as little as 7 minutes. To all the beginners looking to get started working out to lose their belly fat and get in shape: It's only 7 minutes out of your day! Start out just doing this maybe 2 or 3 times a week, and as you get into the swing of things, increase it to 3 or 4. By then, you will be ready to incorporate some resistance training to really build that body you want and know you deserve. Like the routine, we put together for you here today? Are you still struggling with your stubborn belly fat? Trying a bunch of cardio or gym moves with no success? Slash body fat here - http://athleanx.com/x/my-workouts Subscribe to this channel here - http://bit.ly/2b0coMW The best way to lose 5 pounds of body fat is a question that I get almost every day. People want to know if burpees are the best exercise for getting the job done. Others want to know if battle ropes or even jump rope are better at burning calories and burning fat. While all of them are at the top of the list for the most calories burned on a minute per minute basis, they still are not the best way to lose five pounds of body fat the fastest. In this video, I show you how you can never outtrain a bad diet. If you refuse to pay attention to the quality of your nutrition and the foods you put in your mouth you are never going to have the low levels of body fat that you desire long term. Sure, anyone can follow a short term diet that allows them to lose fat for a few weeks however if you can’t keep it up then you will never be satisfied with your body fat levels over the course of the year. Mistakenly, people look to exercises as the best way to drop body fat. While you definitely need to train, achieving fat loss is and always will be better accomplished via the right nutrition plan. This goes back to the comment about never being able to outtrain a bad diet. You simply cannot make up enough calorie burn via exercise (even the most intense) to overcome bad food choices. For instance, our very own Jesse is a big sugar fanatic and a worshiper of gummy bears. Just 17 measly gummy bears has 150 calories. Even if Jesse were to do 10 minutes straight of high effort high intensity burpees, he would only burn 120 calories and he would lose that battle with a net calorie gain of 30. Now Jesse, being a hardgainer, is not concerned at the moment with his body fat levels. He was the only one wiling to do the burpees while I talked during the video being the good sport that he is. If you are looking to burn 5 lbs of fat however, you need to be sure that you are paying attention to what really matters. Your nutrition will always be at the top of the priority list for getting that job done. Now, does that mean that conditioning exercises like burpees, jump rope, battle ropes and split squat jumps don’t have a place in your workout program if you need to lose fat? Not at all. In fact, with a good nutrition approach in place these exercises become even more effective since they compliment the losses that you are already making because of your improved diet. Not just that, each of these exercises helps to improve your stamina, work capacity, endurance, power endurance and your heart. If you are looking for a way to improve your nutrition and get it locked in almost effortlessly 365 days a year, then head to http://athleanx.com and get one of the ATHLEAN-X Training Systems that best fits your goals. If pure fat loss is at the top of your list then you should opt for Max Shred. If, like Jesse, muscle gain is your priority but you don’t want to gain fat in the process then look for the Max Size program. You should be incorporating a couple of these everyday obviously leaving enough time for recovery. You can also combine these exercises into full body muscle building workouts that provide the best results. 🔥 FREE 6 Week Challenge: https://gravitychallenges.com/home65d4f?utm_source=ytube&utm_term=bear Fat Loss Calculator: https://bit.ly/2JoQenD TIMESTAMPS: #1-Barbell row 1:04 #2- Barbell and dumbbell chest presses 2:48 #3- Barbell squats 4:33 #4- The pull up 7:12 #5 -Deadlift 8:51 #6- Shoulder press 10:15 #7- Power clean 11:51 If you're looking for the simplest solution to build muscle in a fast and efficient way, the bottom line so to speak, I gotta say it doesn't get much simpler than this. Because after spending years building muscle naturally I've learned that there are certain useless exercises that you should avoid entirely other exercises that you might want to consider incorporating and then there are the exercises that you just cant go without. Exercises that by themselves have the power to transform your physique. I've narrowed this list down to just seven of the most important exercises that you absolutely should have as a staple part of your routine to efficiently build the most muscle in the shortest amount of time. By mastering these 7 key compound exercises you'll see incredible results even if you're not doing any other exercises in the gym. And I made this video specifically for men not because women can't benefit from these exercises as well but because the ideal attractive body type for men is a V shape whereas for women it's more of an hourglass figure. So even though a lot of the exercises do crossover for both men women this video is specifically to help you develop the best manly physique with the least amount of exercises possible. I'm going to list off these exercises in no particular order, so Let's start first with a very important upper body exercise the bent over barbell Row. With this exercise you'll be working the rhomboids which are the muscles that connect your shoulder blades together so your upper back muscles and you'll also be working the back of your shoulder and your biceps. This is one of the most important pulling movements that you can do. Because you're working multiple muscle groups responsible for Pulling you're able to lift a lot more weight with this compound exercise then if you were to isolate any one of these muscles individually. By strengthening your rhomboids and your posterior deltoid you'll be tightening up your upper back which will help you hold yourself straight up and maintain a better more attractive upright posture. Since you can lift heavy weight with this exercise your biceps are also going to get a lot of stimulation because you'll be lifting a weight that would be impossible to lift with an isolated movement like bicep curls. A basic bent over row is done by grabbing a barbell with your hands a little wider than shoulder-width apart. Stick your butt out and stick your chest out before beginning the movement. Then bend down by about 60 degrees so you're a little higher than being fully parallel to the ground and you want let the weight hang straight down, do not flex your shoulders. While keeping your chest out pull the barbell inward towards your stomach and aim to touch your belly button with the bar. Then bring it back down to that hanging position and repeat this motion for reps. The great thing about rows is that you can do it with a barbell or you can do it with dumbbells, but a general rule of thumb to remember is that you'll be able to lift more weight and typically you'll be able to build more mass with barbells over dumbbells. Also by changing the angles at which you bend during a bent over row you can Target different parts of your back. A fully bent-over position where you're at a 90 degree angle will Target more of your lats and the middle of your back whereas standing more upright will Target more of your traps and upper back. Let's move on to another staple exercise that you should be doing, barbell and dumbbell chest presses. While the rows will help you develop the posterior or the back part of your upper body the chest presses are there to help you develop the anterior or the front part of your upper body. It'll hit your chest, the front head of your shoulders as well as your triceps. With chest presses you want to spend the majority of your time doing them at two different angles flat and incline. If your weakness is your upper chest you want to spend more of your time doing incline presses. if your upper chest is fine but you lack lower chest development you want to spend more of your time doing flat movements. Now the reason why I didn't mention the decline angle is because with flat presses you're going to get

These are the 5 biggest gym mistakes that are sabotaging your fat loss and making you gain body fat. Find out what these rookie workout mistakes are so you can avoid them. 🔥 FREE 6 Week Challenge: https://gravitychallenges.com/home65d4f?utm_source=ytube&utm_term=gym Fat Loss Calculator: http://bit.ly/2O5V7U5 Timestamps: #1 Mistake That’s Making You Fatter: Focusing Too Much on Cardio 0:30 #2 Mistake That’s Making You Fatter: Not Training at a High Intensity 2:09 #3 Mistake That’s Making You Fatter: Being Afraid of Discomfort 3:46 #4 Mistake That’s Making You Fatter: Not Switching Up Your Workout 5:02 #5 Mistake That’s Making You Fatter: Using Too Many Machines/Not Enough Free Weights 6:46 Today's video is all about the five biggest mistakes that you're making at the gym that are making you fatter. That's right fatter. It's totally possible to spend a couple hours every week at the gym and make no progress at all. That's why it's very important to be doing the right things and that's the entire point of this video. Im going to help you understand and avoid the biggest gym mistakes that cause most people to sabotage their workouts. By far the number one biggest mistake is focusing too much on cardio and not enough on weight training. Most people are under the impression that cardio is the best workout for fat loss but that is pretty far from the truth. When we compare a cardio workout to a weight training workout at face value it looks like the cardio workout is actually burning more calories. However when we compare the total fat burning effects of a cardio workout versus a weight training workout over the course of let's say 3 days that's when we say that weight training has a significant advantage over cardio. you might have heard of something referred to as the afterburn effect, which simply means that your body continues working to repair your broken down muscles and return to homeostasis. Of course it does take time for your body to return to normal after a cardio workout but after some challenging weight lifting it's going to take a lot longer and a lot more calories to fully recover. The idea that weight training is for building muscle and cardio is for burning fat is completely wrong and it's a myth that you should just forget about. If you want to speed up fat loss you can definitely do both weight training and Cardio. If you're doing it in the same workout do your cardio after you do your weight training this way you have maximum energy for all your heavy lifts and this way you can also deplete all your glycogen stores so you could burn primarily fat during your cardio workout. Or if you want to do it on separate days from your weight lifting you can do that as well. But if you have to choose between cardio and weight training I would a hundred percent go with the weight training. The second huge mistake that people make is not training at a high intensity. And when I say hi intensity everyone thinks of high intensity interval training. But thats not what I'm talking about at all. High intensity interval training is just one way that you can perform your workouts at a high intensity. Hitt type of training is where youre doing exercises back to back with very small break times while still usually using a moderate weightloaf. It's no secret that high intensity interval training will help you burn fat but there are a lot of different ways that you can create a higher intensity workout with weights. For example powerlifters have a very long afterburn effect after their workouts even though to a bystander it might look like they're resting more than their actually working out. In fact a powerlifting workout looks almost exactly the opposite of a hitt workout. So how did they provide a similar effect? Well there's a couple different ways you can affect the intensity of your workout. You can stack back-to-back sets reps and cut down rest time to increase the volume of your workout. Or you can just increase the weight load. Again this is a situation where I really like the idea of doing both. You should be doing heavy weight training days where you're focused a lot more on giving yourself an adequate amount of rest time to perform heavy lifts. And you should also have weight training days where you're focused a lot more on volume through sets reps and low rest time. The major mistake that I see people making in regard to intensity is just simply taking it too easy at the gym. This actually brings me right to the third mistake you're afraid of discomfort. You get out of breath you take a break or the weight starts getting heavy and before you come anywhere close to failure you rack it. There's a little something that if you're seriously chasing after results your gonna have to chase as well and it's something known as Progressive overload. Results don't come without Progressive overload. Let's break down what these two words mean. Progressive is defined as proceeding step by step and my favorite

In this video, I’m going to show you how to build wider outer pecs that will stand at attention when looked at from the side. I will give you exact chest exercise techniques that you can use to broaden those pecs and give you a more defined look. Many will say that you cannot specifically target the outer chest, and anatomically they would be correct. The pec major muscle contracts all or none and there is no way to isolate a specific region of the pecs. You can however increase the development of the overall muscle by taking it through a full range of motion and increasing the length of time that the muscle is under tension during the exercises you are doing in your chest workout. When you look at the origin and insertion of the pec major muscle we have to look to the arm and the sternum. The pec originates on the humerus or upper arm bone and insert on the chest bone. In order to increase the amount of tension the pec muscle undergoes you want to increase the range of motion that it contracts through on every rep. This means, you want to safely move these two points as far apart as you can on every chest exercise. In the case of the dip, this is easy to see and more importantly feel. Most of us will perform the dip with our shoulders rounded forward. This limits the range of motion of the pec and most importantly decreases the amount of stretch that you will feel on the exercise. Shift your shoulders back into a safer position and stick your chest out and then perform your dips. This will increase the overall range as well as the tension that is applied to the chest muscle in its longest and stretched position. From here, you want to learn to now increase the time under tension on the muscle in the elongated position. This can easily be accomplished by holding the stretch position for a second or two on every repetition. This doesn’t always have to occur on just dips however. As shown, you can apply this to bench press, crossovers and even pushups as well. When doing bench press, it helps to not think about the motion of your hands moving up and away from your body during the rep but rather what is happening with your arms. When you concentrate on moving your arms down and apart and then back up and together at the top you will find that you get a wider arc and more range of motion on the pecs. Pushups can be done exactly the same way. Don’t just lower your body up and down during each rep of the pushup. Look to spread your chest as wide as you can on every descent and retract your shoulder blades. You will instantly feel the increased tension at the origin of the pec major. Remember once again to hang out a bit in the bottom most stretched position of the exercise and you will definitely see the results start to manifest in better outer chest development. If you are not only looking to get a better outer chest but want to get better upper and lower chest development, it’s time to start training like an athlete.
