Here's the thing, different colors mean different things. Green means nature and kind and nice and organic, colors like red mean urgency and stop, colors like black resemble luxury but you know what? Pick whatever colors you feel resembles your brand. If you don't pick colors that resemble your brand, your product, it's not going to flow right, you're not going to connect with people because you're not going to be happy with what you have and that's gonna come across with your web design. The second thing you need to know is your colors need to have contrast, so your call to action buttons need to stand out from your main design. If everything blends in, you're not going to convert your visitors into customers. The third thing you need to know is once you figure out what main color you want, go check out the color wheels out there, there's a ton of them on the web. You can put in your primary color that you're using and they can give you other colors that complement these main colors that you can use throughout your design. And last but not least you need to test everything. Just because you like red or orange, if you think it's the best and that's what people are gonna like, it's not always the case. Test out your colors, especially the ones on your call to action buttons and as you're making these changes, what you'll find is you can then pick the ones that cause the most clicks and sales and if you're wondering how to test out your color scheme, you can use Crazy Egg. Through Crazy Egg's AB testing feature, you can pick different colors and you can see which ones impact your conversion rate the most.

The term was first used in the early 1990s, and has since become widely adopted by the global management community. Minchington describes your employer brand as "the image of your organisation as a 'great place to work' in the mind of current employees and key stakeholders in the external market (active and passive candidates, clients, customers and other key stakeholders). The art and science of employer branding is therefore concerned with the attraction, engagement and retention initiatives targeted at enhancing your company's employer brand." Just as a customer brand proposition is used to define a product or service offer, an employee value proposition or EVP is used to define an organisation's employment offer. Likewise the marketing disciplines associated with branding and brand management have been increasingly applied by the human resources and talent management community to attract, engage and retain talented candidates and employees, in the same way that marketing applies such tools to attracting and retaining clients, customers and consumers. The term "employer brand" was first publicly introduced to a management audience in 1990, and defined by Simon Barrow, chairman of People in Business, and Tim Ambler, Senior Fellow of London Business School, in the Journal of Brand Management in December 1996. This academic paper was the first published attempt to "test the application of brand management techniques to human resource management". Within this paper, Simon Barrow and Tim Ambler defined the employer brand as "the package of functional, economic and psychological benefits provided by employment, and identified with the employing company". By 2001, of 138 leading companies surveyed by the Conference Board in North America, 40% claimed to be actively engaged in some form of employer branding activity. In 2003, an employer brand survey conducted by the Economist among a global panel of readers revealed a 61% level of awareness of the term "employer brand" among HR professionals and 41% among non-HR professionals. The first book on the subject was published in 2005, and the second in 2006. In 2008, Jackie Orme, the Director General of the UK Chartered Institute of Personnel Directors confirmed the growing status of the discipline in her opening address to the CIPD annual conference, with the observation that: "When I started out in the profession, nobody talked about employer branding. Now it's absolutely integral to business strategy—resonating well beyond the doors of the HR department". Similar recognition of the growing importance of employer brand thinking and practice has also been recently in evidence in the USA, Australia, Asia, and Europe, with the publication of numerous books on the subject. Employer brand management expands the scope of this brand intervention beyond communication to incorporate every aspect of the employment experience, and the people management processes and practices (often referred to as "touch-points") that shape the perceptions of existing and prospective employees. In other words, employer brand management addresses the reality of the employment experience and not simply its presentation. By doing so it supports both external recruitment of the right kind of talent sought by an organisation to achieve its goals, and the subsequent desire for effective employee engagement and employee retention.

Learn "How to sell online ?" Marketplaces like Flipkart, Amazon and Snapdeal are highly competitive today. If a seller has to make a mark in these marketplaces they need to choose carefully selected strategy. Selling online made easy by these strategies. Today we are going to discuss about that. 1. Seller account reputation - Online sellers should be paranoid about Account Reputation. Account Reputation is very important and it depends on several factors such as shipping speed, number of returns/cancellation, positive or negative feedback. Feedbacks are the most important factor. Each negative feedback should be taken seriously. Talk to the customer and try to get it removed. In case this does not work out , an alternative is to overshadow negative feedback with positive feedback. Call customer that are happy with your service and request them to give feedbacks. Account reputation is a spiral. 2. A sellers should study his competition very carefully. Lets suppose you sell printed t-shirts/tees. Think how a customer would search for it keywords like “printed t-shirts” “graphic t-shirts” etc. Go to marketplace and search for these keywords. Look where your product is. If you are not in the first 1 or 2 pages try to figure out why your product is not there. Price can be one parameter. Choose between sell less at more price or sell more at less price. 3.Loss Leader Product – You sell a variety of products on marketplace. Select few products from them whose purpose is not profit but allows your brand to reach to more and more customers. They help drive sales volume. Less profit per sale but more orders. Also helps in building great account reputation. 4. eCommerce discount – If you are a manufacturer , you have control over discount and marketplace pricing. If you are selling Brand products, you can be bit limited for pricing. Flexibility in pricing is very important .

It's online marketing. Guess how much money that one keyword makes me? Little to nothing. Why? Because I picked the wrong keyword to rank number one for. Today I'm going to share with you how to find the right keywords to rank number one on Google. The first tip I have for you is to put your top competitor's URL in semrush. Semrush will show you the most popular pages that your competitors are getting traffic for. This will give you ideas of what your competitors are doing and how you can find the right keywords to rank for. If your competitors are bigger than you, they probably know what they're doing, and they're probably going after keywords and traffic, that convert into leads and sales. Once you've figured out their most popular pages, take those pages and put them into ahrefs. Ahrefs will show you how many links each of those pages have, and you know what the hardest thing is to do? Build Links. What you want to do is look for the most popular pages that have the least amount of links. Those are the pages you should be focusing on first. It'll give you ideas on all the keywords that your competitors are ranking for when they don't have a ton of backlinks. That'll give you an idea of the right keywords you should be targeting first, because not only will they drive you a lot of traffic, but they're the lease competitive because you don't have to build backlinks. The second tip I have for you is to use Google Search Console to find the right keywords to rank for on Google. Did you know that Google gives you a free tool that helps you rank number one? It's called Google Search Console. It breaks down all of your rankings, the keywords that your pages are getting traffic for, and even the positioning as page 1, page 2 and page 3. It breaks down exactly where you're ranking. The cool part about Google Search Console keyword planner is when you dive deep into each of your pages using the search analytics, it shows you all of the impressions that you're getting for keywords that you're on the bottom of page one for. You want to go after the keywords that you're at the bottom of page one for because it's way easier to rank number one for a keyword that you're already on the first page for, versus going after a brand new keyword that you're not even in the top hundred for. Going after a brand new keyword that you're not even in the top hundred for is a lot more work than going after one that you're already on the bottom of page one for. Google Search Console can show you keywords that you're not even trying to go after, but yet they drive traffic, and they convert visitors into customers. Go to your landing page, and make sure that those keywords are in your title tag, your meta description, your heading tag, and within the content of your page. By doing that, you'll slowly start increasing your rankings for those pages that you're at the bottom of page one for. The last tip I have for you to find amazing keywords is to use Google Trends. It's another free tool by Google. It breaks down keyword traffic from web images, news. This breaks down what keywords are climbing in popularity, and you wanna go after the keywords that aren't popular but are climbing. For example, Apple has a ton iPhones, right? If they're going to release the iPhone 100, you want to talk about it before everyone else is talking about it, because the moment you're one of the first adopters, one of the factors that Google has when it comes to rankings is time. It's hard to outrank older pages. It's not impossible, it's just harder, so why not be one of the first people to blog about new terms that aren't popular yet. Try to blog about new upcoming keywords, because you're not going to get traffic from them right away, but in two, three months, or even a year, you're going to be dominating, because no one else went after those keywords before you did. Just think about green tea, and acai berries, and all of those hot crazy nutrition terms. Yes, they're really popular now, and they're buzz words, but back in the day, no one was really looking at them. If you're not sure what keywords are up and coming, just tell me the keyword, or link in the comments below using the Google Trends link, and I'll tell you if it's the right keyword, or a negative keyword, if it's up and coming, or it's declining. That way you're not wasting your time writing articles on stuff that won't be popular. And if you need help with digital or online marketing make sure to leave your questions in the comments!
