Travel Vlog Iv is a travel and food video channel. I'm Ivana, nice to meet you! You'll find travel and food videos on this channel because I like to take you along while exploring the world. These videos hopefully make you excited to travel and eat food around the world as well. There's such a joy in getting out of your comfort zone and growing as human being by traveling to new places and eating delicious food you've never tasted before. I'm currently based in Bangalore because India is my favourite country in the world. Travel in India is kind of my thing but I've been al over the world. Just check these playlists to begin your journey with me: https://bit.ly/2l4sMk4 FAQ's: Q Where are you from? A I am born in former Yugoslavia. Mom is Serbian, Dad is Bosnian. During the '90's war we came to the Netherlands and I got Dutch nationality. I've lived in Amsterdam for 8 years but lost my heart to India. Since 2018 I'm based in Bangalore. See this video for my refugee story: https://bit.ly/2l17T9h Q How can you afford to travel so much? A I saved for 3 years while working full time and now travel vlogging is my job. I work together with tourism agencies but also do some freelance work on the side. You can watch this video: https://youtu.be/vxfjQO_F1vE and this one: https://youtu.be/dB7plg139wQ to learn more about my story. Q What camera do you film with and what editing software do you use? A Canon G7X Mark II and Final Cut Pro X Q (Why) Are you vegetarian? A I'm vegetarian but not strict. I don't eat any meat, fish, cooked/boiled or fried eggs. I gradually became a vegetarian over the course of 15 years because I disliked the taste of meat more and more. After doing a yoga teacher training in 2015 I also quit fish and the eggs. No matter my food preferences I have no issues with other people not being vegetarian. I don't judge others and kind of expect the same favor from others concerning my own food preferences. It makes for a more friendly world :-) Q Why do you usually travel alone? A Because my friends have jobs with limited holidays, kids and partners. Also I really like exploring on my own. Q Why do you love India so much? A Watch this video: http://bit.ly/2iyUKkc and this one: https://youtu.be/Sh7E9VisTKQ

The addresses for these locations are listed below. Chinese/Asian food recipes are going to be included in my blog shortly. 1) Local street food Chang Fen (rice noodle roll) - These are found throughout the city and are famously eaten during breakfast time in Guangdong, or during yumcha dimsum. I went to a very cheap Chinese restaurant specializing in Changfen in Baiyun district: Name: 潮汕辉记肠粉 Address: 广州市白云区岗贝路4号 2) The best and must try chashaobao AKA charsui bao AKA BBQ pork bun. These beauties are like upgraded baozi steam buns you find all over the streets of China. The pork juicy and covered in a sweet Barbeque sauce and the bun is so fluffy, you won't be able to get enough of them! Name: 天天包点 Address: 广州市越秀区起义路72号 3) Famous Chinese street food Chashao BBQ pork and Shao'e roast goose. These are the best and two must try street foods in China, especially during lunch hour in Guangzhou or Hong Kong Name: 九爷鸡 Address: 广州市越秀区文明路103号 4) Dim sum at the famous yumcha dim sum restaurant Dim Dou Dak. This is a chain restaurant that serves some of the best cantonese dim sum in the city. Be sure to order the shao mai dumplings, har gao dumplings, fengzhua chicken feet, and their specialty red rice roll. So good! Name: 点都德 Address: 广州市越秀区越秀中路60号宝贝城4楼 5) The largest wholesale seafood market in Guangzhou. There is a huge selection of seafood here, you could spend a whole day here just watching and discovering all the different types of fresh seafood. It's not cheap unfortunately, it's quite expensive! Be ready to bargain a little bit. Name: 盛港湾酒楼 Address: 广州市海珠区黄沙海产批发市场 If you have a whole day in Guangzhou or even Hong Kong (you can find exactly the same street foods) to travel and eat and try Chinese street food, then visit some of these amazing and best street food locations! West African Food - EXOTIC DELICACY in GHANA!

►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Bushmeat is a term that is used to often describe wild game meat in Africa. And while there some types of bushmeat that are not good or unsafe to eat - grasscutter - also known as a greater cane rat, is safe and one of the most popular types of bushmeat to eat in West Africa. It’s a delicacy! So while we were driving on our way to Elmina, Ghana, along the side of the highway, we stopped at some hunters, and bought a grasscutter. Later in the day, we met up with our host family, and we drove over to the Elmina fishing market. The market was amazing, bright and colorful, and energetic, with some unique fish and seafood available from the Atlantic. We bought some fish to go along with our grasscutter, and then we continued back to the house to start cooking. First for lunch, Mama made us a dish called Eto, a mash up of yam and palm nut oil, topped with eggs. It was a little on the dry side for me, but it was an honor to have a chance to try that special Ghanaian dish. For dinner we prepared the fish and grasscutter. The fish was made into Ghanaian groundnut or peanut soup, which is one of the best dishes I at in Ghana. The grasscutter was made into a bushmeat grasscutter light soup which included chilies, garlic, onions, ginger, and tomato. Finally, for the main start of the meal Mama made omo tuo, Ghana style rice balls. How does grasscutter taste? The greater cane rats run around the fields and eat grass, so unsurprisingly some parts kind of taste like grass. But they are a white meat, and have a similar look to chicken, but the meat is even sweeter. It was also surprisingly fall apart tender. I thought it was amazing! Across West African food, grasscutter is a very popular meat, and a delicacy eaten on special occasions. It was one of the greatest food days I had in Mexico, and we tasted so many incredible dishes. La Esquina del Chilaquil - For breakfast in La Condesa, there’s no better place to check out than La Esquina del Chilaquil, their tortas are delicious. Price - 40 MXN ($2.14) each Mercado de San Juan - I wanted to quickly check out this market, but it wasn’t all that busy when we went - there wasn’t too much going on. So we had a quick scorpion and then continued on to the ultimate street food market. Scorpion - 160 MXN ($8.54) for 4 Mercado de La Merced - Mexico City is packed with street food, but if you want a food experience that’s busy, in your face, and always exciting and delicious, Mercado de la Merced is one of the greatest places to start. You’ll encounter massive amounts of street food that will blow your mind with how delicious they are. Here are the things we ate at the market: Quesadilla - 57 MXN ($3.04) for 3 Fries tacos - 20 MXN ($1.07) each Pancita - 40 MXN ($2.14) per bowl Pambazo Mamey - 15 MXN ($0.80) Mango - 15 MXN ($0.80) Churrería El Moro - This wasn’t street food, but we needed a little afternoon break, and there’s no better spot in Mexico City for churros than Churrería El Moro. Total price - 439 MXN ($23.44) for all Esquites - 20 MXN ($1.07) - After walking around El Zocalo - the center of Mexico City, we then had a corn snack os esquites where they add corn, mayo, cheese, and chili salsas to a cup. It’s pretty tasty. Loncheria La Rambla - Next we tried a Mexican style turkey sandwich - it was alright, but not the best food of the day. Torta de pavo - 35 MXN ($1.87) each Taquería Los Cocuyos - And finally to end this Mexico City street food tour with 5 Mexican Guys, we headed to Taquería Los Cocuyos, a legendary taco stall in the heart of the center of the city. The tacos are amazing, and it was the perfect was to end this day of incredible Mexican food. Tacos de cabeza - 17 MXN ($0.91) each Again, thank you to Moises and 5 Mexican Guys for reaching out! The Ultimate Istanbul Turkish Food Tour - JUICY Kokoreç, Balık Ekmek (Fish Sandwich), and Lahmacun!

32:28
►Check out my Istanbul Travel Guide: http://bit.ly/Istanbul-Guide ►Subscribe to my videos: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►Camera I use: http://bit.ly/2d2TA0G Day 10: Istanbul, Turkey - This was one of the best days of eating Turkish food in Istanbul that I had during my visit, and this video is an Istanbul food tour. We started with Turkish breakfast, followed by the famous fish bread sandwich (balik ekmek), followed by kokoreç and midye dolma, and then finally for dinner I ate lahmacun. Although everything was good in this Istanbul food tour, my favorite food of the day was the kokoreç. 00:41 Lades Menemen Restaurant - The first meal on this Turkish food tour was for Turkish breakfast just off Istiklal street. Along with some side dishes, my main order was menemen, which is a type of Turkish egg dish (similar to scrambled eggs) and I got it with Turkish sausage. It came piping hot and bubbling away, and it was extraordinarily delicious, especially with all the other sides. Total price - 34 TL ($11.43) for everything 4:56 Galata Tower - 25 TL ($8.40) per person - On this food tour, we still had to do a little bit of sightseeing, so on our way to the next restaurant, we stopped off at the Galata Tower for an amazing full 360 view of Istanbul. We got there right as they opened, so it was nice and quiet. Galata Bridge, Eminönü, Balık Ekmek - Perhaps one of the most well known Istanbul street foods is, balık ekmek, a fish bread sandwich. Located in Eminönü, and along the water's edge, you’ll find a handful of boats that grill up pieces of mackerel, stuff them into bread, and serve them with lemon juice. You can sit along the pier, and enjoy your fish bread sandwich, and not only is it good, but the atmosphere is also fantastic. Balik Ekmek (fish sandwich) - 8 TL ($2.69) 10:56 Spice Bazaar (Egyptian Bazaar) - If I could choose one of my favorite things to do in Istanbul, it would be exploring the Spice Bazaar which is also known as the Egyptian Bazaar. You’ll find an incredible amount of spices and herbs and flavoring ingredients from around the world, packed into the market. After walking around for a while, Ying and I decided to buy some cherries, and the friendly vendor also gave us some samples of fruit as well. Cherries - 1 kg. for 12 TL ($4.03) 13:35 Süleymaniye Mosque - We were in the general area, so we stopped in at Süleymaniye Mosque, an iconic mosque in Istanbul that dominates the skyline. 15:21 Kral Kokoreç - The next food on this Istanbul food tour is kokoreç, and it’s one of the Turkish foods I was most looking forward to eating in Istanbul. Kral Kokoreç is an amazing, sort of street food stall in Istanbul. Kokoreç is a delicacy of organs wrapped in lamb intestines and grilled. I ordered a plate of it to go alongside some bread and it was spectacular. It was one of the best Turkish food meals I had, I loved it. They also sold midye dolma, mussels with rice and spices, and they were also wonderful. Total price - 29 TL ($9.71) - for everything. 22:42 Grand Bazaar - After that amazing meal, we walked over to the Grand Bazaar, which is not only one of the oldest covered markets in Istanbul, but one of the oldest covered shopping areas in the world. It was pretty amazing to walk around, and admire the shops and the actual structure of the Grand Bazaar in Istanbul. I think the tea was 1 TL ($0.34). 25:47 Fıstık Kebap Lahmacun - To complete this Istanbul food tour, our final stop for dinner was at a restaurant called Fıstık Kebap Lahmacun (thanks to Culinary Backstreets for the recommendation: http://culinarybackstreets.com/cities-category/istanbul/2013/top-3-lahmacun/) to eat lahmacun. At first we started off with aryan and kibbeh, before proceeding onto the lahmacun, pide, and the special fistik kebap. Everything was delicious, but I think I really liked the simplicity and lightness of the lahmacun the best. Total price - 58 TL ($19.49). And that completes this video of the ultimate Turkish food tour of Istanbul, it was an amazing day of food! Amazing Adventures in Bali - Travel to an exotic land

01:24:32
THE REAL WORLD OF BALI The island of Bali in Indonesia has been called the most exotic island in the world. The people of Bali believe that all aspects of life and the universe must be kept in balance. A balance between good and evil and between the visible, tangible world of the living, and the unseen, magical world of gods, witches, demons, and the deceased. The fascinating way in which the Balinese interpret their five thousand year old Hindu religion, is unique in the world. Rick Howard is a travel, adventure documentary filmmaker and story teller who has spent many years working in Southeast Asia. His first two week visit to Bali only gave him a glimpse of this fascinating island and it's people. It would take five years of working in many countries in Asia for Rick to get back to Bali, and to finish this film on this mysterious, magical island. This is the story of that odyssey, an adventure focusing on Bali but also including the exciting city of Hong Kong, a glimpse into the dangerous drug smuggling world of Thailand, Burma and Malaysia. You'll see the snake handlers of Pinang, an exotic Hindu wedding in Singapore. You'll dive beneath the waves with Rick, to visit the spectacular under sea coral gardens in the central Philippine islands. On Rick's first trip to Bali Rick met a fifteen year old Balinese girl who's father had her show him around. When he returned five years later, she was twenty years old and this time she gave Rick a tour of her whole island paradise on a motorcycle that he had rented. They visited active volcanos, the bat cave, the Sangi monkey forest and temple and she introduced Rick to the Hindu deities that haunt the forest of Bali at night. Rick also met some good surfers here on his second trip and one of them was David Kennedy, son of Bobby Kennedy and a good surfer at only nineteen year of age, when Rick knew and filmed him surfing on Bali. You will see all of this and get to know the people of these fascinating places with Rick Howard in this five year adventure, THE REAL WORLD OF BALI

The Original Taco Bell Tacos - MEXICAN STREET FOOD Tour in Los Angeles, California!

25:00
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Thanks to Jeffrey Merrihue (https://www.instagram.com/jeffrey_merrihue/) and Austin Burgess (https://www.instagram.com/rocketburgess/). Along with Jeffrey and Austin - two food extreme friends, we set off on a day of Mexican food and fun feasting in greater LA. Gilberto’s Taquiza - For the first stop on this Mexican street food tour, we drove all the way to West Covina, California, about 45 minutes from Central Los Angeles, to a little spot known as Gilberto’s Taquiza. Jeffrey made sure to call Gilberto himself to reserve some of the meat dripping dynamite sticks to make sure we had some. The dynamite sticks are essentially stewed lamb, cooked until fall apart tender and dripping with oil. In order to make them he dunked a tortilla into the hot oil, sizzled it on the hot plate, filled it with the fall apart tender meat, and rolled it up into a taquito. The result was spectacular. Everything else was delicious too, but the dynamite sticks were crazily good. Total price - $35 for everything Birrieria Guadalajara - Next we drove a little further towards Riverside, California, to eat birria, a special Mexican goat stew. Again, this is another Mexican food that just melts in your mouth, meat cooked until fall apart tender. It was spectacular and all the staff were very friendly as well. Total price - $32 for everything Mitla Cafe - Right across the street from Birrieria Guadalajara you will find Mitla Cafe, home to the original crunchy American taco. An American taco is a crunchy shell, ground beef, iceberg lettuce, yellow cheese, and tame salsa. As the true story goes, Glen Bell was selling food across the street and used to come to Mitla Cafe to eat their amazing crunchy tacos. Eventually he got the owner to show him how to make the crunchy tacos, and he later started the entire taco bell empire. The downside is that he never admitted that he got the idea and recipe from Mitla Cafe. It’s nice to see Mitla Cafe is still doing very well, and their crunchy American tacos are fantastic. Price - $13.95 Taco Bell - Yes, just for comparison purposes, we had to go to the nearly Taco Bell. It had been years since I had last eaten taco bell. I have to admit the crunchy tacos were decent, but the crunchwrap supreme doritos locos thing we order, nope. That just didn’t do it for me. If you love eating street food around the world and street food in India, or even all over Asia, you will love the street food in Old Delhi. You can find street food everywhere, where everyone seems to cook delicious Indian recipes for curry and SPICY dishes all over the street. In one day in old Delhi, India, we had 7 delicious street foods all made in the halal style. We started out the day with an AMAZING ramadan experience at the largest Mosque in Delhi, Jama Masjid. We picked up a ton of different Indian street foods to bring to the mosque and break the fast with all the locals. We shared the delicious food, and then went back to the streets of Old Delhi to try more food. The first food we had on our street food tour was the Delhi Fried Chicken, DFC, covered in Indian spices like masala and mustard. It was extremely JUICY and PLUMP!!! Afterwards, we tried more BBQ chicken and then went for a nice Indian dinner cooked by one of the locals in Old Delhi. His family recipes were passed down to him and his food was legendary! We ate Indian Chicken Biryani and chicken korma curry along with Buffalo Korma along with Kameeri Roti! It was absolutely delicious! After this, we went to the LEGENDARY Changezi chicken joint that invented the recipe for this juicy and flavour packed chicken curry dish! To finish of the day, we went for some delicious BBQ Seekh Kebabs, extremely flavourful!! The addresses for these street food restaurants in Old Delhi, India, are found on the main street below Jama Masjid, Old Delhi, India. This is the perfect street food to try in Japan in the morning for breakfast! You can also eat amazing fresh sashimi in this sushi restaurant, but I preferred the bowl of salmon roe and sea urchin. After this, we found the most INSANE Sashimi stall, serving up fresh tuna sashimi by the cube, sliced right in front of you! It doesn't get any better than this! It is served to you with a little soy and wasabi, absolutely perfect! After the amazing tuna sashimi, we went deeper into the Tsukiji market to find some other Japanese street food, and found a stall selling more raw Japanese seafood, and decided to try the raw scallops. They were super tasty! After this we found a stall selling a dish known as Kuromon don, a rich beef offal stew over top of rice and topped with green onions. It was very delicious and super fun to enjoy right on the street! You just pull up a chair and sit down on the counter and watch them scoop up this delicious Japanese street food right before your eyes! After this, we went for a famous bowl of ramen noodles in Japan, at Ichiran ramen. It is a Tonkatsu style broth, so quite creamy and rich, and the best part is how you can customize it exactly how you want it, with different levels of spiciness and richness, all from a machine! After this amazing ramen, we went for a once in a lifetime Sushi experience at Nishi-azabu Kamikura. It wasn't cheap, but it was an amazing experience that you will always remember. The master chef cuts each piece of raw fish for you and creates Sushi for you individually and serves it to you by hand. It's unforgettable and you can taste new flavours and textures with each piece. Here are the addresses for the restaurants we ate at in this Japanese street food video: 1) Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe Bowl: Restaurant name: Tsukiji Itadori Uogashi Senryo Address: 4-10-14 Tsukiji, Chuo 104-0045, Tokyo 2) Amazing Sashimi Stall at the Tsukiji fish market: Stall name: Tsukiji Itadori Uogashi Senryo 3) Delicious Raw Scallops: Found inside the Tsujiji Fish market in Tokyo, Japan 4) Delicious Beef Offal Stew: Restaurant name: Kitsuneya Address: 4-9-12 Chuo-ku, Tokyo 5) Tasty bowl of Tonkatsu Ramen: Restaurant name: Ichiran Shibuya Address: 1 Chome-22-7 Jinnan, Shibuya, Tokyo 6) Once in a lifetime Sushi and Sashimi experience: Restaurant name: Nishi-azabu Kamikura Address: 4-2-9 Nishi Azabu | Seasons Nishiazabu, Minato 106-0031, Tokyo Even after eating all of these amazing street foods in Tokyo, there is so many more things to eat!
