I don't think DB Writer will write into buffer when commit is issued. As of my knowledge when we commit only the redo is written into the redo files, it's not mandatory for the dbwr to write the dirty blocks into the DataFiles.

By referring to oracle official documents, I found there are some bad explanations about oracle db structure. There should be process architecture and memory architecture. Not mixing them.
